I use
gitorious.org for most of my personal project hosting these days,
as well as automatically mirroring all libvirt GIT repos for backup.
It does not aim to provide a complete hosting solution though. It is
just focused on providing GIT repos, permissioning for those, and a
minimal wiki.
I wasn't a huge fan of gitorious after using it for vhostmd.
It's fine, but not a lot more than just a git repo.
