I added a reference to the file plugin, which would probably be the
main plugin you'd want to use it with.
Also, we may want to mention when this mode was introduced (since if
you don't have 1.22 installed, you can't use it yet).
Yes, I've been meaning to add annotations to various features so users
know when they were introduced. At the moment we only have this for
whole plugins & filters. It's a lot of work though.
