Yes, febootstrap 2 & 3 are completely different tools.

febootstrap 3 only creates supermin appliances:

But what about if I want to create a complete rootfs with GUI to use

with qemu kvm?

Don't use febootstrap for this. Use 'yum --installroot=...' instead.
