... there is no virtio-scsi module in the initramfs.
The reason for this is that your host kernel doesn't have virtio-scsi
configured. I don't know why that is, but you need to fix that, and
then you can do:
rm -rf /var/tmp/.guestfs-*
libguestfs-test-tool
and hopefully it should work.
