I've just uploaded libguestfs 1.53.7:
https://download.libguestfs.org/1.53-development/
and virt-v2v 2.5.11:
https://download.libguestfs.org/virt-v2v/2.5-development/
These are intended to be the last development releases before
releasing new stable versions (libguestfs 1.54 & virt-v2v 2.6).
I have also prepared preliminary release notes:
https://libguestfs.org/guestfs-release-notes-1.54.1.html
https://libguestfs.org/virt-v2v-release-notes-2.6.1.html
Please let me know if there are any problems. Else I will release the
stable versions next week.
We did discuss (internally at RH) making a new stable branch of
guestfs-tools, but there are not sufficient changes upstream to
justify that in my opinion. I will instead do a bump of the existing
guestfs-tools stable branch (ie. stable-1.52) with any important
fixes:

virt-top is 'top' for virtual machines. Tiny program with many
powerful monitoring features, net stats, disk stats, logging, etc.
