libguestfs is a set of tools for accessing and modifying virtual
machine disk images.

The 1.24 release represents 5 months of development and has many new
features including:
- virt-builder: a new tool for building virtual machine images
rapidly and securely:

- User Mode Linux can be used as an alternative backend (ie. instead
of KVM)
- virt-resize & virt-sysprep can now use URIs to work on remote disks
- many new virt-sysprep operations
- bindings for the Go programming language
- support for the systemd journal
- support for setting the qemu caching mode
- ARM (32 bit) and PPC64 are not fully supported
