the windows vms are created by vsphere-client or XenCenter using
vm-template,
the format of all disks is NTFS.
It looks as if qemu cannot recognize the container used for
the disk itself, so it just looks like garbled data.
What does 'file' say about the disk image? Does the guest
use anything like Windows LDM? Try converting it to a normal
format (eg. raw).
