Unfortunately that won't work for virt-inspector where it'd have
to be something along the lines of:
inspect_and_mount ($readonly, $allow_multiroot,
$callback_for_each_mounted_root);
This is messy.
Fair enough. Everything other than virt-inspector can use a single
high-level function, though.
