This version of seabios contains an alignment bug that causes accesses to virtio-blk devices to hang. It is fixed by this patch: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-qemu/seabios.git;a=commitdiff;h=3c5f... but I would suggest updating seabios to a more recent version since this version is very old and probably has other bugs.
